I've been trying and trying to have my MX-500 learn from the remote that came with my AmiNet-110 without success. Do I need to upgrade to a current model like the URC-200? Would a MX-700 do it? Anyone have success with the AmiNet-110 with any multidevice universal remote ? I just need one that works at least equal to or better than the MX-500.

Did you try these learning methods?

[Link: remotecentral.com]

Usually the quick tap and release or hold down till learnt is good enough. Butif it's having problems could be toggle bit type IR.
Shut it Dole scum! :-)

I want to thank you for ending my madness. I had already tried most of those methods. However, of all the methods listed on the link you provided, the Duck Blind method worked. For those who have learning remotes with a learning disability, start with that one first. It worked like a champ. Thank you again.
