I understand that it is possible to use a Home Producer 8 to send discrete codes to teach another remote MX-500. Does anyone know how to do this? SOmething with the Magic key?

For the P8 to send the discrete commands to your mx-500, it needs a working setup code for that device, the library in the P8 is kind old.

To map an advanced code to a key on the P8, see the middle of this page.
