I have a mx-950 and some of the codes that I need are in .mxd. The MX-editor doesn't seem to let me import .mxd files in the universal browser. Is there a way to import these files or convert them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Download the MX-850 editor and install it, then import the MXD file into it and save it as an MXF file. You'll be able to use the UB with an MXF file.

Right-click on the device tree and select "Import Device". Then, assign it to an LCD spot and save.

I tried the same.

I exported a device from a MX850 remote and tried to import into my MX800 remote using the latest editor software.

At the point where you assign to a LCD spot, it asks me which device to assign to. I chose one but the OK button remained disabled. I could never import it. Any help?

If there are any "Used External Devices" showing in the panel, you must highlight and assing each one before the "OK" button will be enabled.

Imported mxd file into 850 editor to export as mxf
Did what you said, worked, except the only option is to save as an mxd file which are not accepted by the 700 editor. Got the latest editors. Could it be an older version is required?

OOPs I tied to export rather than save!

The "save as" dialog box has an option to save as .mxf file. Make sure you have the latest version.
