Guys, something I just want to share with you all that might be helpful.

I was experimenting with my new mx950, which for some reason can't control dishnetwork 942 hd/dvr box eventhough I use the same code for my mx800.
I tried using all the generic Echostar and DishNetwork code ( the power code). Didn't work perfectly everytime. Still too lazy to learn from the original remote.

I tried the 811 code.
IT WORK PERFECTLY !!!!!!!!!!!!

ANd as a bonus, it has a DISCRETE code for Power On and Power Off that work flawlessly.

most of the main buttons work, some of the buttons you just have to rearrange.

Hope this will be helpful for some of you.
hmm, wondering if this will work for mx3000?

just another downside, my cheap philips tv (30pw850h) power code now bacoming my new "tivo" problem, sometime it work, sometime it doesn't ( strangely it work better with my old mx800) :<
