I have a Home Theater Master MX-500 that works great and I've owned it for about 18 months. Today the screen suddenly went blank. I changed the batteries, but nothing happened. The only thing appearing on the screen is a thin line on the top and bottom of the screen. The manual doesn't have a troubleshooting section.
Anyone know what happened and how to fix it? Thanks.

Early, Had the batteries leaked in the remote? You can tell by a white residue in the battery compartment. Let me know. Thank you, Damon DG = = = = = http://www.ProRemotes.com - Authorized Dealer & Remote Programming

Recheck the battery polarity and battery contacts. If still no luck give URC a call and ask about repair, (914) 835-4484.

I have an MX-700 that did the same thing. Only two lines appear on the screen, I cannot turn the remote on. Have you resolved your problem? And, if yes, how did you do it? Does any one have suggestions? Thanks
