MX-800 issues info command for DISH 301 when remote is sitting on coffee table unattended. DISH file is from MX Editor DB, with no modifications. Any ideas where to start troubleshooting?

Try changing the address of your receiver to eliminate the possibility of neighboring interference.

Good idea, I'll start there. Thanks.

Did you mean the MRF-250 or the DISH 301?

If the DISH 301 original remote is a rf type, change the code in the Sys Info menu to see if it stops. You could have a neighbor with the same remote code.

Also try removing the MX-800 batteries temporarily to see if it stops so you can isolate the cause.
