Hi,
1st of all, I would like to say that is a great website ! Well done guys !
I've finally bought an MX-700.
I've searched this forum and the "discrete codes" forum without success.
Here is my questions:
1 ) does anyone know if the "all-in-one" Sony DAV-S800 exists in IR Database ? I couldn't find it and my PC is 2 floors away from the device to test all the data codes. Because it's at the same time a DVD player and a sound system, I don't know where to find it.
2) there are a lot of toggles, does anyone have discrete codes for it working with MX-700 ?
3) the power on needs to be hold to actually switch on the device, how can I have it done with my global P-on macro ?

thank you for your help.

I can tell you from experience, there is no perfect way to automate this one. If memory serves, the play command should turn it on and set it to the DVD input. From there it is pretty much press the input select button until you get to the right input. For instance, Play, Input, Input should always get you to the same place. Play = DVD, Input, Input is two inputs past DVD.

That said, you'll have to play with it some because I remember this being somewhat difficult if there is a DVD in the player things change a bit. Some of the macros might be quite long, but you should be able to do it pretty well.
There are 10 types of people in this world,
There are those who understand binary,
and those who don't!
