Has anyone seen discrete on / off codes for Samsung plasma's? The IR data base on the MX3000 just shows "POWER" and "POWER"

Thanks

I just looked in the database for the MX-3000 editor and the first listing under Samsung TV is "Discrete Functions". Did you try those codes?

Andrew, thanks much. I would not have noticed that. I skimmed over the section and when all I saw was the two power codes, I assumed that was it.
Big problem solved. Thanks!

Also.... If you take a closer look at just about every samsung code in there you will see that there are discrete power codes in the function list. You see power/ power (toggle power codes) at the top of the list because the original remote control for the TV has a toggle power button, not discrete.

Yes, I see that. I wonder why they would include two power codes if they are the same (toggle)

They put a power command on the on hard button and a power command on the off hard button if there are hidden discretes. If the remote has discretes that aren't hidden (like a Harmon Kardon or Integra Receiver they will usually put the discretes on the hard On and Off buttons.
