Does anyone have the codes or solution to the press and hold power button so thoughtfull created by JVC for this projector...You would think a $13,000 projector would be alitte more custom friendly.

Try code TV 244. It should work.
FYI - On an MX-3000, you can "sustain" a command if you double click the IR command in the macro window and set it there. Alternately, on the MX-700/800/850, you will need to either get the code from directly from URC or see if it's available in the files area. Those remotes are not capable of sustaining a command, unless it's part of the IR string itself.
