You may want to try to load an empty program to
the remote when you get a message like that.
Sometimes it doesn't completely overwrite/erase
previous programming. It doesn't happen often,
but I've found this technique to help too.

BUT....

These are different remotes, different clients....I've already downloaded first and second versions of my config and tested, adding delays and such is all I am doing here. Not talking about the out-of-the-box config with first time dl.

Shouldn't have to take my downloaded config, test it, modify it, download again (no go, so now download a blank), download my config again... you get the idea.

Right. I meant only when you get that error message during a particular download, not before each download you perform. :)
