I know Ive read it on here before, but dont remember the details.

I want to execute a lighting command when the "play" , "pause", or "stop" buttons are pressed on the 850. i.e.,

"scene 1" (100%) when the "stop" button is pressed.

"scene 2" (50%) whenthe "pause" button is pressed

scene 3 (25%) when the "play" button is pressed.

Tried to do it yesterday at a customers home, and drew a blank. IT wont let me shortcut a hard button, nor assign a macro to one. How can this be done?

Im using a Lutron spacer system (IR) with the spacer already progeammed on the 850, and all 4 scenes are sucessfully controlled by the 850. I just need to be able to shortcut to scene 1-4 when pressing the appropriate buttons.

What am I missing?
No, I wont install your plasma with an orange extension cord hanging down the wall.

I've done it with my MX-800 and I did it just the way you described, with a macro.

Pressing "Pause" goes to the DVD commands, press the pause buttton, then goes to the Lutron commands and goes to a scene.

Not sure why your's is not working.

Not sure I understand your response. Are you saying to were able to issue a macro with the HARD pause button, and not a LCD pause button? If so, how?

What you have to do is create a macro on an LCD button somewhere, lets say on the DVD device, page 3 and call it playm.

Click the play button, then in the edit and label buttons window pick DVD under device and for IR code, scroll down the list under page 3 and find the playm with the little green M next to it. Click SAVE and you have your shortcut, all will be well
