New MX-3000.

Tried to download a configuration.

Now the thing is frozen.

After hitting the reset button, removing the battery, etc, it starts up and a dialog box comes up saying " 'RC' is not a valid Windows CE application". If I try to download another file to the remote, the software tells me there's not enough memory.

I was going to install this remote into a job this weekend.

Any ideas on how to reboot this thing?
Anyone?

Try this,

Open the 3000 editor, goto files, new, then create an empty device. Save it to a temporary file name of your choosing and then fry downloading it. If it works you should have a clean base to start from.

If your not using the newest version of the editing software you should do an update but do the above steps first.

You can also hold down the main button for 5-10 seconds (if it will let you) to get into setup, you can then load a default file. This worked for me once when mine locked up.

Got it working by holding the restore default in the tools page.

Thanks.
