One of my SL-9000 remotes is acting up funny. It looses the punch through for the TV volume daily. After I re-punch through it works for a day or so. I wanted to see if it return to normal operating mode after clearing the total memory. The manual does not explain how I could do a total clearing of all programmed information. It only explains how to clear certain functions like macros and punch through.
I would like to start from scratch as if it was new. Can you help in explaining how I can get it to that status.
Thanks !

That and the macro loss is our biggest problem on the 200 plus SL-9000's we have in the field (we're glad we mostly do 850's now).
If you're loosing the punches this often AND you have brand new batteries in the remote, I assume it's defective. I sure wouldn't clear the memory and start over unless I absolutely had to.
I'd run it by tech support at URC first.
