Has anyone found a way to "learn" AM/FM station presets to the Mx-700? Sony's 2-way learning remote causes many problems. Any workarounds for this receiver would be appreciated.

I have a Sony receiver as well. I wasn't able to learn the specific presets, but I use the channel up/down to cycle through the presets. Works fine for me, but I listen to CDs much more often than the radio.

For most receivers I've programmed, the "Channel +" and "Channel -" should allow you to scan through the presets, as mgarbell mentioned above. If the original remote has a way to go directly to a specific preset, then it should be able to be learned. If not, I'm sure URC can create a code for you, if it doesn't already exist.

Thank you,
Damon DG
