So, I was all excited to see all my components in the IR database (denon 2200, mits 65613, dish 811)... too bad fully HALF the codes don't do what the tag says they should. The tv input for comp2 really selects comp1. the input1 on the tv brings up contrast... the denon dvd player "skip" is the dimmer (while the "dim" button on the remote dims as well).
Is this usually routine? I figured if I just grabbed someone's mxf file on the file page here I could run into problems, but the actual MXEd database being wrong (for me, at least).
Is there a reason for this, or am I just cursed? I'm just programming the remote through learn commands...which I like because I only put what I really need on the remote, but god, some preprogrammed would be nice....
I know I must have done something wrong, so any ideas why the IR database is messing up my remote?

I'm not sure why the file for the 65613 would be so far off since most Mits WS models all use the same commands. Try one of the others and see if you get the same problems. Just about any other WS model number should work.
