Any suggestions on how to setup two sets of Favorite Channels - one for the TV (conected directly to the cable/antenna) and the other that would select them on the cable box?
With the crappy PQ on low channel numbers via the Comcast DVR Cable box, I prefer to watch them using the TV tuner which is much clearer (Panasonic Onyx TH50SVX 30 Plasma). But there are some channels I prefer to watch via the cable box so I can use the pause/rwd and the view the channel Guide.
I'd like to have two set of the same favorites - one that selects/changes the TV tuner, the other that selects/changes the cable box tuner.
Any suggestions?
thx

Make your source selection part of the macro for each channel. Channel changes will be slower, but you will get what you want.
Another way would be to use the top 2 buttons of your favorite page to set the source, and the lower buttons to select the channel.
You also could set up device pages to do this and ignore the FAV button.

You can actually create two separate devices to act as your favorites. Here's what I would do:
1) Create C-FAV and T-FAV as devices 2) Program those device buttons with a macro that switches the inputs accordingly 3) Program the sub-pages with favorite channel macros (ie, C-FAV - Page 1, Page 2, etc.)
Let me know if this helps.
