I received my MX-850 yesterday and after a few hours reading combined with some trial and error, I have the remote pretty much working as I would like to. What a great product! I wish I had bought one much earlier!

One of the problems I'm having is to find a discrete code for turning the TV speakers on and off for my Sony Grand WEGA TV model KDF-55WF655. I have found a toggle for the speakers but as you all know it sure would be easier and more dependable if I had a discrete code for the TV's speaker.

I expect I could create a macro to simulate the menu steps required to turn the speakers on and off but I would rather keep that as a last resort .

I have searched around in the file area without any luck, but I am quite new to this site and I'm sure that if there is such a code someone here would know about it and might be kind enough to point me in the right direction.

Thanks in Advance,
Mark

I don't know if there are discrete codes available for what you want, but make sure you check the file section for Pronto CCF files. CCF files can be used in the MX-Editor with the Universal Browser and can be created from hex codes like you can find here.
Use Mike's FAQ if you want to try hex codes here.
