I have the above 50" DLP HDTV.

The Power IR commands have always been a bit weird with this TV. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

I've had the same problem with my URC300 and now the MX-850.

I'm using the discreet IR commands.

If I recall correctly I learned the command on the URC300.

I can't test the URC300 any more because the Dog ate it. That's why I had to buy the MX-850 this week :)

Larry, I'm in the same perdicument.
Discrete powers only work some of the time. I wondering if ithas something to do with a delay time built in to the TV. However, sometimes I can discretly turn on and off the TV 10 times in a row and have no problems. I also noticed that when my discretes arn't working, neither does the physical power button on side of TV. The toggle power on remote will turn it on. Go figure. I would also love any input anyone has on this matter. I have had this problem before too. I ended up having to use toggle power commands. Thanks, Jeremy
