I have a new MX850 and MRF250 repeater.

The RF Blaster in the repeater isn't working.

I've checked the software. It is on channel 0 and the repeater is on channel 0.

I verified the Blaster is set to on in the software, and the Remote updated of course.

When I hit a key the data light on the repeater flashes, so the signal is getting that far.

The repeater is in clear view of all the components, aimed dead-on with them, about 12 feet away.

My previous URC300 and MRF100 worked fine in the exact same positions.

Any idea's ?

TIA

Larry, the front blaster is disables on the MRF250 when set to 0, 0 is for rf interference testing purposes. Set your ID's to 1 or greater and see what happens

Yeah, I caught that tidbit, totally by accident, reading another thread.

You'd think they would document this in the MRF-250 Manual :)

Thanks!

I dont think I have ever asked for directions, ok well maybe once when I was programming a remote and had to call tech support...Oh yeah, it was a MRF250 issue and it turned out to be faulty as was the MX3000

FWIW, the use of the "0" ID is documented here, but it's not likely you'd ever find it unless you were looking for something else.
