I have been told that in order ot get into the service menu for my LG DLP that I need to use a "One for All" remote because it has the * (star) key.
Further, I was told that the Any of the 'One-For-All' brand remotes will do it.
A) Tell the remote your set is type 0056 (LG)
B) To get into the LG service menu, you enter *018

I am stuck though:
How do I program a star(*) key on my MX700?
What the heck would be the IR code?

I do not want to buy a "one for all" when I am sure that the MX700 can be taught to do what I need.

Sure could use some help.

Thanks
