alright nevermind that, I just reset the whole thing..... now I have the TV, cable, dvd, vcr, and reciever all set up using the pre-programmed method.... and everything seems to work fine...but what I want to happen now is, When everthing is off. You hold down the ON button for 1 second the tv and reciever both turn on, and the remote switches from MAIN to CABLE. And I also want to punch through the volume commands from the reciever to the cable menu....If someone has msn messenger I would greatly appreciate a walk through so I don't screw it up again. my msn id is [email protected]

To punch through volume, you must select the receiver when asked FROM? and the cable device when asked TO? in the PUNCH setup. To program your macro, you have to start it with a one second delay (two presses of the PAUSE button), but that may only work on the device buttons.
