Help! The light in my URC 200 worked perfectly for over a year then just stopped. Now to make this really weird I took my 200's hardware out of its case and put into another 200's case. The light worked! I then took the hardware out of the second 200 and inserted into the first case and the light did not work! Holy moly what's up with that?
Finally, I reassembled both 200's into their original cases. The first 200's light still did not work and as expected the second 200's light worked as was the case to begin with.
Your comments, thoughts, ideas or whatever will be greatly appreciated.

I agree....that sounds completly bazar!. Could be a tolerance issue with the different cases.

I've tryed everything under the sun to find what could be hampering the light function. It will take a much greater mind than mine to figure this one out.
Now there are three clues I failed to mention.
1.) The upper side (only) of the top case has been painted,
2.) The mounting screws do not fit as snug as when new. (I have since rebuilt the mounts so the screws had more material to bite.)
3.) In the original test with unit #2 I did discover that the light will not activate when the board is not screwed to the case.

i would have to say that the case is piching the pc board and is putting unwanted stress on that section. check all along the edges for pressure points.
