Does any one have power off/on discrete codes or MX file for Directv D10 satellite receiver? I saw an earlier post where someone else was looking for the same information. How do I use the code once I have it? I don't see anywhere in the MXEditor where I can enter this code. Do I need to purchase one of those older learning remotes and then have the MX850 learn from it? If that is the solution can someone post the list of remotes I should choose from.
I am also looking for discrete codes for a Magnavox tv and a Toshiba SD-2800 DVD player

Bigdm,

Here is a link to the D10 CCF file with discreets:

I didn't see files for your other models, but check the "files" area to see if there are any that may be close enough for you to use.

You would use the Universal Browser feature to open the file and import the "learned data" by dragging and dropping to the button you want to each command on.

Thank you,
Damon DG

Thanks Damon. I had checked earlier on if a file existed for the Magnavox TV but no luck. I will check on the Toshiba player.

I searched the files for Toshiba DVD SD-2800 and found a prontoneo file but I can't open it to determine if it contains discrete power codes

Bigdm,

Only Pronto Pro, MXD of MXF files work.

Thank you,

You could download NeoEdit to look at the file and Neohacker to get the hex code to be used in a Pronto CCF. However, looking at that file, it doesn't have discretes anyway.

Mike,

Ah, thanks for the tip. I'll have to test that out sometime.
