I have a 850 and I have located the IR code list for my Zenith television. I need to add a DVI button which I have labeled and now I need to add the IR code which is C6 according to my manual. I now know how to learn a code, but I don't know how to edit a button and add the proper IR code. Can someone please give me some guidance? Thanks in advance.
Also it looks like I have the codes for the TV so I can have power on and power off, but I don't know how to include them either.

You can't enter any codes directly into MXEditor. If you can convert the code format you have into hex form, you can create a Pronto CCF file that can be opened with the Universal Browser. What other information do you have besides the "C6" designation? Mike www.SurfRemoteControl.com

Mike,
Thanks for the quick reply, but I was able to use another command that was preprogrammed.
This remote sure is fun to play with. Now if I can only find a way to fix those toggle commands. I am sure I will come up with something soon.

Actually, I'd like to continue this thread.
For those of us not familiar, how _exactly_ do we get the code in using a 'ccf' file ?
I have a need to enter some codes in for my Yamaha RXV-2400 for the DSP modes to directly access them.
Thanks :)

If you have a command in Pronto hex form (looks like this: 000f 0f30 000c etc.), you can create a Pronto file that can be opened with the Universal Browser. Instructions for creating a Pronto file from hex can be found on my FAQ page here. Mike
