I've just got an MX700 due to my MX500 dying thanks to the kids. Does anybody know how to make the MX700 use the last device when you go to the main menu?

On the MX500 if I was watching the satellite and wanted to check out my favourites list and then exit from that favourites list I'd hit the main button to get to the main menu. With the MX500 under the main menu the hard buttons would control the last device used i.e. the satellite. The MX700 doesn't seem to work the same way.

Do I have to just make shortcuts to all the satellite hard buttons under the main menu or is their an easier way to do this?

Cheers

Steve

With the MX-700, the hard-labeled keys on MAIN will not control the last device used, nor can you make it do that. You can use a combination of punch throughs and shortcuts to MAIN from other devices.

I thought that might have been the case. I did do the work around you mentioned but just wondered if I had missed anything.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

On my MX-700, when I go to my favs, then hit the Main button, it takes me back to the device that I was using, without going to the main page. I thought that was the way it was supposed to work. Does yours not work this way?
