Is it just me or are the .wav files played by the MX300 INCREDIBLY quiet? Even the ones that come built in, so I know i'm not just using quieter sounds. This is with the volume turned all the way up in the setup section of the remote (I have no idea why they give you the option of turning the volume DOWN it's already quiet enough).

Has anybody else noticed this? Or do we just have a bad unit? Or maybe we're missing something (multiple places to control volume, etc.?)

Rob,

Which version of the MX-3000 do you have? I recall an early version having considerably low volume, even when raised all the way up.

Thank you,
Damon DG

I find my volume is pretty low. Since I am holding it, it doesn't seem to be a problem :)

Don't know if my version is considered early or late in this context, but I have a later version with the new screen.

I think the only way to tell the hardware version is to look on the bottom of the box it came in.

The new version will have two small speakers underneth the MX3000 logo. Now you can have stereo sound on your Remote ; )
