Can you explain a little more about exactly what you want to do? Do you want to just put text on buttons...create totally new graphics for buttons...etc?

Once I understand exactly what you're trying to do, I'd be happy to help you out.

Thank you,
Damon DG

He's looking for a font that contains the standard transport controls. Windows CE supports adding fonts, so we *should* be able to add a font that contains them to the remote, but I have no idea how to go about doing it.

Try using the Webdings font and then enter characters such as 1, 2, 3, ;,: etc. for the different symbols.

Great idea Pete!

Here's a list:

3=left arrow
4=right arrow
5=up arrow
6=down arrow
7=Rew
8=FF
9=Skip back
;=Pause
:=Skip forward
<=Stop
==Record

Thanks Mike. I actually learned this from one of the many configurations I have been "borrowing" from in the MX-3000 files section.

Are you saying you can use special chars like are done on the MX-500? How do you type those for MX-850 editor?

Edit:
Found the answer...
Use the LCD Button Editor and not the Edit and Label Buttons window. Transport symbols are along the top of the LCD Button Editor window.
