mx editor crashing like crazy

anyone else have this problem latley. especially when importing devices i get the dreded mx editor has incountered errors and windows must close it.
aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggg. i was an hour in the other day and hadent saved like a moron. i have the latest update and xp no sp2 thankyou any idea?
