Does anyone know if you can add more fonts to the MX3000 Editor??
I would like to add a few more fonts if possible, something with more webding styles to include transport controls and source icons

I was going to buy MX-3000 today, but I couldn't access all the fonts on my computer using the MX-Editor. So, you can't add fonts? Ridiculous! Not buying; not for $1,000 bucks, I'm not !!!

You can get "Freebees" Transport Fonts from GUIwerks.com, but what's the use? I did and just tried it; the MX-3000 editor doesn't recognize the installed fonts. That's so silly. $1,000 for a graphics editor that doesn't use installed fonts!

Ridotto,
The MX-3000 Editor is free and it is by no means a graphics editor. To edit graphics, you will want to use Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks. The $1000 is for the incredibly capable functionality of the remote itself.
If you would like an MX-3000 and graphics made using a particular font, give me a call at: (914) 509-5360 and I'd be happy to help you out if you're interested.

It is pretty easy to setup a button using those "installed" fonts. Maybe 2 minutes each in photoshop and I am not even that good with photoshop. Now if we could ever use flash for the remotes that would be pretty sick

Dog,
Flash would absolutely make the remote do some pretty spectacular stuff! That would be nice.

I agree that using fonts from the PC is better but that's just more room the remote would need to store them. There is no anti-aliasing fro the text anyways so more complex fonts would look pretty choppy.

Something really strange has happened to my MX-3000 fonts; some of them seem to have disappeared on the remote itself (not on the editor or the simulator) and are replaced by another font (not the one chose in editor or showing up on the silmulator). On the other hand the remote now accepts RCCs that are a lot larger than those previously accepted (i.e. I took a old one and added a lot of graphics and sound), but they actually show up as smaller!
I am thinking that when I increased the size of the RCC somehow editor or the remote got rid of some fonts to allow the new and larger RCC to download, although this never happened before, I just received a message saying my RCC was too large. The change happened after I did a live update (but apparently not to the latest version, because I was not asked to contact my deaer or register or anything, like it does now).
Does this make sense to anyone, and is there anyting I can do to get (some of) the fonts back?
