I have attempted to use the learning feature of my MX 700 with my new Hunter Douglas Shade remote control. Are they using different frequecies that are incompatible?

Most ceiling fans are rf, not ir. Thats why you can,t 'teach' the ir code to your MX-700. Sorry.
Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!

Proud to say that my property is protected by a high speed wireless device!

No Need for anyone to respond. This was one of the cases that required the Sending Remote needing for the button to be rapidly toggled for the MX to learn the code properly. Trial & Error prevailed!

This was for a "shade", not a fan.

The shade now works fine in my macro and alone.

Thanks though....

Can you explain what "rapidly toggled" means?

Thanks!
