Scott,

I originally sent this to you Monday (10:34 PM Central), I am sending it again right now (Wednesday 3:22 PM Central). I didnt get a bounce back from your account and I double checked your email address.

All looks good, this is a 3MB attachment. I dont know if attachment size is an issue with you, if so, let me know and we will find another way to get it to you.

Jakey 32 and dpinc,

I am currently away from the house, I will send it your way as soon as I get back home, more than likely tomorrow afternoon.

Sorry for the delay. I normally would have gotten it on its way very quickly.

Regards

Hi, My Name is Bracken Baker

I have finished a program I have been working
on for some time now, which will create a Graphical
DVD Listing of the discs in your changer, each
being a single button to load that disc. This
came about after the first time I sat down and
started to create this layout manually, and realized
that even when I was done, it was going to be
a nightmare to go back and add new discs to the
middle of my list. So I started work on this program.
Which I have called "DMX-3000" or Disc Manager
eXtreme.

It is still in beta but has been tested thoroughly
and I am ready to see what others think of my
work. Keep in mind this is my first Programmable
Universal Remote so there might be better ways
for layout, and that is what I am wanting from
others.

If you already have your DVD Collection in "DVD
Profiler", you are a but dozen mouse clicks away
from having your entire collection selectable
from your MX-3000.
If you arent currently using DVD Profiler I highly
recommend it, it is an excellent application.
Not only is it completely FREE, but all you have
to do is type the UPC of each DVD in your collection
and it does the rest, Cover Art, Title, Genres,
Complete Actors List, etc. etc.

Once you have your collection entered, my program
will take its exported database file, and your
current Remocon (RCC) file, and create a Device
with a graphical, alphabetical Listing of all
your movies. There will be a little initial setup
for each changer you have in order to set its
correct IR codes, but that is a one time setup.

I am currently working on putting this up to a
website, but for the time being I would still
like to get it out there and see if anyone else
can use and enjoy it.

Either reply here or E-mail me if you would like
to test it out. TripleB (at) cox-internet (dot)
com

I'd like to see what you have. Sounds very interesting and a whole lot more affordable than some of the servers out there. Question is -- how do you keep your files updated?

Updating the files is a breeze.

Simply enter the UPC codes of your new DVD's into DVD Profiler and export the XML file.

Import the XML file into DMX 3000, open the base remocon file, then save the modified remocon file.

Import the modified remocon file into MX 3000 editor and download to your remote.

All done in less than five minutes.
Live each day like it's your last. One day you'll be right.

Well put Dadio, and even better coming from a user.

To all those that have requested it over last few days, I apologize for the delay, but the Holiday kept me out of pocket most of the weekend. You should each have it in your Email now, if not let me know.

ALSO, I need input. With the exception of a few, I am not getting any reply from those that currently have the program, GOOD OR BAD. I want to know what you like/dislike, what you would like to see added/removed, etc.

I'm always right. The only time I was wrong was the time that I thought, that I was wrong.

The software works great. With just a little trial and error I got everything loaded and it functioned perfectly.

I've only started a couple of DVDs with the program, but they worked just fine.
