So, I got a C-1024 controller and got all the Bose codes programmed into my MX-700 but the fun part is that it doesn't work. I checked and re-checked all the switch settings and the cables and still can't figure out why it doesn't work. The only indicator that I have so far is that out of the 2 lights on the C-1024 only the power LED is on - should the other LED be on too ( on the bluedo site in their image they have both on) - what is the second LED for ? On the C-1024 end does the cable go into the RS-232 or TTL ? Is my sensor or the C1-024 busted or is my Bose busted ?
Any help or pointers are greatly appreciated.

thanks.

You'll want to use the TTL port. What model of Bose system do you have?

I tried using the TTL port as well but nothing !!! I have LS 25.
Do the LED's mean anything ? Thanks for your help David.....your support makes it worthwhile buying from BlueDo.

One LED signifies power, and the other LED is lit when it receives a code from the included IR sensor cable, which is where you'd aim the remote to test / use.

Try this:

1) Import the CD-5 MXD file we provide: [Link: bluedo.com]
2) Plug the C-1024 in to a power outlet, and the IR Sensor into the appropriate port on the C-1024.
3) Aim the MX-700 at the IR Sensor, and press VIDEO (it'll be the top left LCD button).
4) The 2nd LED should flash.

This is completely separate from the Bose system - I just tested this on the floor of my office with only the C-1024 and an MX-800.

Let me know the results!

I have a Bose Lifestyle 50 system, and also the C-1024 controller and the MX700 (both from BlueDo), and they all work beautifully together. SO I can vouch that the products DO work.
