I have a specific code for a function of this sat. box. It consists of a bunch of numbers. How do I convert/import/use these numbers?

Which MX remote do you have and are the "bunch of numbers' in groups of four, containing numbers and sometimes letters?

Sure, it's a hex code format. You need to download ProntoEdit from the "Files" section here on Remote Central and create a CCF with that code in it. I have directions posted for doing that here.
