Hey guys, just want to say I love the mx 3000 and have the mrf250 on the way today so i'll be busy later!
The question is, I have downloaded various network icons for my cable company, how do i assign the channel number to the specific network icon? I thought I would be able to drag and drop the corresponding channel number it only takes one of the numbers not say '103'
Many thanks
John

Where did you get the icons? Do happen to have them as a set we could all use? That would be awesome!!!!

Check out the Files section, scorpius. There are some here and many under the color Pronto section.

When I get so deep into the programming (and drinking) I forget that there are BMPs/GIFs over there not in Pronto files... thanks!

Setting up Network Icons that automatically tune to that channel is fairly easy...
(MX-3000 Instructions)

I RECOMMEND DOING IT THIS WAY versus inserting actual IR CODES into the BUTTON Macro because it allows you to change the IR CODES at one device/page/location. If you were to change your SAT/CABLE receiver, you'd have to manually change EVERY BUTTON ICON IR Code and that would be painful if you have many.

Getting the NETWORK ICON on a page
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(There are a few ways to do this, so choose
the way you like, here's one way)
1) Select the PAGE you want to use, or create a new one.
2) Insert a BUTTON item on to that page.
3) In the Image Panel (Right Side), IMPORT the BMP/GIF Icon.
4) Now create a IR Macro for that button.
IR MACRO
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Example:
To tune to the "NFL Network (DirectTV) Channel 212"
Do an ALIAS command/macro for the button (In Macro Panel)

Make sure you have your cable box or satellite receiver configured as a working device, with all working DIGITS (0-9, ENTER) IR Codes programmed and ready.

SAMPLE MACRO:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1] SOUND: BEEP.WAV, TEXT: CH 212
2] ALIAS: (SAT_Digit_2)/(SAT_Numbers_Page)
3] DELAY .25 sec
4] ALIAS: (SAT_Digit_1)/(SAT_Numbers_Page)
5] DELAY .25 sec
6] ALIAS: (SAT_Digit_2)/(SAT_Numbers_Page)
7] DELAY .25 sec
8] ALIAS: (SAT_Digit_ENTER)/(SAT_Numbers_Page)
(I placed .25 second pauses because I have a Samsung HDTV Satellite receiver and it runs a little slow and can miss digits.).
Hope this helps :-)
