I am stuck. I can't seem to find any ON/OFF, input discretes for an old Mitsu 70" RPTV. Model is VS7001r.

Problem 2: Discrete on/off for Kenwood VR8070.

Spoke with Kenwood techs, they said the codes are on Remote central. I can't find them. Thanks a bunch in advance for any help.

I don't believe there are any discretes for the old "VS" series.

For the Kenwood, you could try some of the Pronto files for one of the other model Kenwoods or the .mxf file for the 7080.

Yeah, I tried the Kenwood codes listed. They work great except for the ON/OFF discretes not present.

As far as the Mitsu 70", I was afraid of that answer. Thanks for your help MikeSRC.

How would you recommend one to program a MX800's MAIN page with no discrete power for TV or main surround amp? And still make it easy and non-confusing? I guess my goal with each and every remote I program is to keep as clean as possible with no clutter and full discretes for all components I sell. Unfortunately, I was not able to sell a single component to him.

The whole "out of sequence" thing is bound to happen with power, and service calls every other day. I thought about making the Main page's first 2 lines TVPWR, and AMPWR. Then under those list the sources to choose from. I've done this before and my customer's response was, " Well, I can program my AMP remote to do all that." Which, he could, therefore, not needing to buy the remote from me.

Any advice is appreciated.

I spoke to the local west coast Kenwood rep yesterday and he informed me discrete power codes for Kenwood receivers do not exist.
