I have a timer setup to turn off a light at 10:00 pm.
While testing it works fine. I have it turn off the light and jump to the main screen. For testing I set it a few minutes ahead and watched the remote.
The nightly timer does not work. I set it to run last night at 10p. This morning the light was still on. WHen I picked up the remote, it woke up and then turned the light off! Like it was trying to run the timer when I woke it up. I am assuming timers should work even if the remote is in sleep mode.
Any thoughts?

may be a silly question, but did the remote have a good charge?

Depends on your definition of a good charge. It was new, but charged to over 50%. I would bet it was not up to 60% though.
I am also having an issue with the time resetting, so I don't know if that contributed to this problem or was even the cause of this problem.

very strange that it seemed to issue the command when it woke up. If you figure this out, definitely post an update

Sorry to revive this one, but it continues to happen. For example, the light was supposed to turn on at 7pm. 7:10 and no light. I pick up the remote, it wakes up and the light turns on. I have sent two emails to HTM and no response.
I am getting a bit discouraged with a $1000 remote that isn't working with a simple timer and no response to my emails :(
Has anyone else had this problem? Does everyone else live in "timer nirvana" with working timers?

I've sent off an email to HTM and will let you know what they reply.

I just spoke with Damien about this problem. Yeah, it isn't me!
It seems there is nothing in the remote to tell it to wake up if a timer goes off. He said their engineers are working on it (as we speak I could hear them typing in the background :) and it would be available through the live update feature. He did not have any timeframe for the fix.
What I found odd (after being relieved that it wasn't user error) is that he said not many people seem to use this feature. I would agree from the lack of responses here from people with the same problem. Do people really not use timers? When I got my first Pronto, the first thing I did was program timers and toss out those old manual outlet timers for the lights. It was great!

Well, I'm glad you got to talk to Damien.
I received the same answer today, so hopefully they'll have it worked out soon.

I for one use it. But I have not had any problem with the remote waking up to issue a command. Hopefully they figure this out soon. He had you send in the RCC right?

No, I did not send my file. When he seemed to know exactly what I was talking about I didn't even think about that.

The engineers know what the problem is and are looking at ways to fix it.
