Looks like someone else is trying to sell the remote and it's not even out yet. So you better hurry up and

This guy can't even get his lies right. He lists the MSRP at $399 and it's only $290. Might he be trying to unload a beta version?

Can't see how there would be many beta versions floating around. But the MX-1000 has been on Ebay before -- MONTHS AND MONTHS ago. Naturally, anyone who bought it still hasn't got it. Speaking of which, we had a contest here in January for a MX-1000 -- and the winner hasn't received it yet either. Soon, soon!

Oops, my bad...
I wanted to say that I am the Guy who won the MX-1000 and I have just about given up hope. At this rate it will make a nice Christmas present....

I received an MX-1000 yesterday -- looks very nice! Haven't had time to get into actually using it yet...

Just kidding...
When you received this for test did HTM tell you if this was still a Beta model and you were the last beta test or is this an actual production model which they have began manufacturing in bulk regardless of its review ?
Did it come boxed up with manual or was it just brown bagged ?

Currently no box, no manual (well, a laser printout). From what I hear they're still targeting the end of the month.
As for the actual remote, I understand it's what they'll be shipping but due to flash-upgradable firmware things could change (or be changed later).
