I am farely new with the mx series remotes and had a pretty basic question. I am currently trying to program an mx3000 and need to snag a component code from an mx800 file. I have tried using the import function but must be missing something basic. Any help would be much appreciated.
thanks

You cannot import MX-800 files into the MX-3000 Editor. The Universal Browser is for importing commands from Pronto files, but they must show up as "Learned Data" in the Browser. What component are you trying to program and what file are you using?

Hey mike

Thanx for that info. I am trying to control a 50 inch Samsung plasma panel. I have gotten the info to the uni browser and created a hidden page for it on the remote. It seemed to work ok yesterday but today it either lost the data or has just decided not to work. I think I have heard of this happening before with these remotes. Well i just reloaded the pronto file to the uni browser and still no workey. If you have any thoughts it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Dave
