I have two problems with my MX-500.

Problem #1
When I run my Power Macro, it turns the entire display black. It is a simple macro:
1-Turn TV on
2-Hit the down arrow on TV (resets the parity)
3-Turn on Receiver
4-End macro on TIVO

Problem #2
My Phillips TV kept turning itself on (never off, just on). I was about to call on the warranty, when I decided to put my remote in a cabinet for the night. The next morning. . . TV was still off.

Every time I put the remote out of site, the TV stays off. If I leave it in the room pointing anywhere near the TV, it turns itself on. Sometimes it takes 10 seconds. Sometimes it is after I leave the room. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I have fresh batteries, and have tried to reprogram my power macro several times. . . any suggestions?

Thanks

I'd give the manufacturer a call to resolve this issue: 1-(800)-901-0800.
