With both my remotes, I have had problems learning from the remotes of two european-made brands of audio gear. Sugden (UK) and Primare (Scandinavian I believe). The learned commands are erratic. For example, CD tracks end up jumping two tracks instead of one when pressing the next track button. Also, on the original remote, pressing key 1 will play track 1. Pressing key 1 twice will play track 11. But this can't be learned. All I get after learning is the 1. I can't make 11 apear with two presses. There are many more examples, including, with the Primare, inputs changing by two at a time, rather than one at a time. A signal is learned, but all too often, not accurately. Is there something about european-made remotes that makes them impossible to learn with my remotes? I notice that if I try to re-learn the commands after the first effort fails, I might even get a different (but still incorrect) result. I have no problems at all learning from my Sony TV and Tivo remotes, or my previous Sony CD player and receiver. Any suggestions?
