Am thinking of buying the MX-500. Can I program a macro that will turn on the room lights when I hit pause or stop on the DVD via remote? I have X-10 remote lighting on order.

Thanks,

Tim

The answer is Yes and No. You can use the MX-500 to control the lights. You can make Macros to control the dvd and lights at the same time. But you can not put the macro on to the Pause or stop buttons. You could put a a Pause macro on an LCD button and that should work. It will take some messing around with on the MX-500. I have a 500 and lighting control and I think it is great but I never did get marcos working to do what you are asking about. I hope this helps
