Have I got this right - you can't put a macro on a key in a device group? E.g., the "Play" key under VCR can not store a macro?

I'm totally bummed...any way around this? I'd like to put a "return" button that takes me back to another device page after executing a command.

danabw,

That's correct. The older MX-500/MX-600 design is limited to macros on the main page and the buttons at the bottom.

The URC-200/URC-300 and MX-700 will let you put macros on any LCD button.
