Just bought my mx800/mrf200 on 17th May (from Downtown Audio, NJ). MX800 works great, although for 2 days a horizontal line of pixels in the middle of the top line of devices disappeared (then started working again, fingers crossed!).
The mrf200 (version 1 - how come?, bought 2 weeks ago) doesn't work. It seems to randomly accept about 1 in 5 commands (usually if left for 2/3 minutes). I've tried all the usual things suggested in this forum (metal foil, removing aerial, moving around etc.), but to no avail.
What can I do now? (PS: I'm in Scotland)

Dealers that aren't turning around a lot of inventory may have old stock on hand. It's common with "brick and mortar" stores.

I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer by emailing to [email protected] with a detailed report of the problem. I know that you're not in the USA, but they may be able to provide assistance for you.

Thanks, I'll give them a try.

What does "brick and mortar stores" mean? (sounds like an American saying!)

It means that the store has a building you can walk into and purchase items from, versus buying on the internet.
