I currently have an MX-500 and I'm considering moving to a MX-800. Are the Xantech IR emitters I'm using on my equipment now compatible with the MX-800 RF/IR system?

Thank you.

The Xantechs have a 3.5 mm plug. The MX-800 emitters have a non-standard 2.5 mm plug. You would either need to use an adapter or splice the wires to the smaller plug.
