My MX-700 works great except when I use my CD changer. I used the IR codes for my H/K 8550, but when I push skip+ or - it seems like the code gets sent multiple times. In other words, the CD track jumps from say, track 3 to track 6. Once in a while if I push the button fast enough it will go to the next track, but it usually skips a couple. Is there any way to slow the IR signal down or put in a delay so I always get the next track only?

The MX-700 shouldn't send out repeats unless you actually hold the button down. If the same MX-700 key is wonky on all devices, you may have dirty contacts inside the remote. However, it's more likely that the MX-700 did not learn the original code cleanly. Try relearning while holding down the button on your original remote.

It appears that the MX700 can learn either a short version (which can't repeat) or a long version (which can repeat) of a command. You need to re-learn your command with the short version, so it can't repeat if you inadvertently hold the button down too long. See my earlier post for more information: [Link: remotecentral.com]Good luck!
