I have done a lot of experimentation around my room and cannot seem to find a interference free area outside of my equipment rack. I can get close....example: I have a MX800 macro that turns everything on or off. Almost always, the macro forgets at least one component. Most of my commands seem to work on the first or second try. I have walked the MRF 200 around the room with no IR emitters attached. I even used an extention cord to get more range when moving the MRF 200. I just seem to get O.K. or worse performance. I have spent hours and hours moving emitters, the base station, and checking codes. It should not be this hard. Please help

Have you removed the antenna? On the bottom of the MRF 200 there is a version number 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0, if there is not then it is a 0.0. 0.0, 2.0, and 3.0 are good, 1.0 is not so good.
The problem is that 0.0 was originally made to please the FCC, then URC cranked the sensitivity on the 1.0 which causes it to see about any RF and floods the gateway. By removing the antenna you decrease the sensitivity which should allow the MRF to function much better.
Good luck.

If nothing else is working, try that
