Do these discrete codes even exist? I've tried using the Proton codes that come with the MX-800 editor, but not only can I not find discrete codes, the toggle codes I've found work poorly for my turn-on macro. It is random that the TV turns on and when it does turn on, it's still random that it switches to Video 1. (The TV's default turn on is to the antenna input.) I've tried longer delays between codes, double delays, sending the power code twice, nothing works reliably. I need this TV to serve its purposes for another 6 months before I'm ready for a real one so it would really help if it worked. I've programmed my TSU2000 by hand, no discrete codes, delays between commands or anything and it works like a champ. I just don't like that style of remote anymore. Is there hope? Are the IR frequencies used by this TV funky and not used anymore? I realize it's 19 years old. Anyway, thanks for your help!
