I,m using the Built in codes for the Sony Sat HD200 w/both the IR and RF on or RF only w/out IR Blaster activated. Everything works fine ,but in RF Mode ONLY, I can,t get the numeric button presses to respond as they do in IR mode.(can,t repeatedly press a number w/out having to wait a sec. to have the rcvr respond to another numeric button press) But I can scan and scroll w/out any problems. I,ve tried to learn those keys but they respond the same. Has Anyone had this problem? Any suggestions?

I would experiment with the positioning of the IR emitter (which you should always do before sticking them on). It may be that the emitter is too strong for the receiving eye and moving it away will give you better response. Sat boxes are often susceptible to this problem. Mike www.SurfRemoteControl.com

I,m not having any luck. It works fine w/IR. Scolling through the guide and channels work fine. It,s just the numeric keys.I used both supplied emitters and Xantech 283m blinking emitters to trouble shoot. RF reception is fine and responds well to all other commands.

If I could chime in. I think there is a particular problem with the HD200. It seems to be supersensitive. I have the MRF-200 (V0.0) and was able to get everything to work fine in IR. Also was able to get everything except the HD-200 to work in RF. Never did try the tin foil route (gave up early). Was having some success when the MRF-200 unit was about 50ft away. I put the unit on another setup (it also has a sony directv tuner) without the HD-200 on everything works fine.

I had the same exact problem with a V1 MRF200. It will work perfectly with a V3. Guaranteed!
