Does anyone know what color this remote will be ? I have seen the origional postings in which this remote looked kinda black and puke gold and then lateley I have been seeing this remote in the awsome silver color. Is there to be 1 or both of these available ?

Well, I didn't know it existed until about a week ago. So In a way I feel much like you did 6 months ago. After looking at whats available available out there It was between the Pronto and the Sony. Although I liked the pronto more it seems as if there is a really low volume of these available and the remotes are actually going for more then they did 6 months ago. The MX-1000 (if/when it shows this month) looks much more user friendly hopefully a review will back that up, its price point is already over $100 less then the pronto. Perhaps this will also drive those units down to a realistic level.

So Yea, for now I believe in the mx-1000
I can wait till mid September if necessary, so far i've only been waiting a week.

To the best of my knowledge it will be as in this photo: [Link: remotecentral.com]

However I've seen a total of three color schemes so far.

Consider the Crisp Solutions UCommand 616 when it comes out at a later date, too! Might be just what you need.
