Is the MX1000 out? I did'nt think it was but I found
someone who says he has 15 for sale for $200 each.
Do you think he's trying to scam people?

Who exactly says they have it?

I received a comment that the seller is on EBay. Since I haven't heard from the manufacturer that it's shipping, I find this a little odd. Especially the comment "its the ticket the reviews and comments have been fantastic" since no one (especially reviewers) have received one yet.

I received an e-mail from the seller stating that he
is to receive them on April 29th and will begin to
ship them then. But I think I will hold off because
this site is always up to date on whats going on. If
it says May then it's May. And seeing as how haven't
reviewed one yet.

Thanks for your help

Please know that our website will be the authority on exactly when the MX-1000 will be released, since we are the actual manufacturer. Our website address is UNIVERSAL-REMOTE.COM, and the latest word is JUNE. I do believe they've settled on the current software and will add upgrades to our website for eventual downloading through the RS232 cable.

Please make sure our unit's are still on order with you. When we contact your company we seem to get the run around and nobody seems to know what's going on.
We have many of these unit's sold and I would like to get them to the Remote Central Forum Customers A.S.A.P.

Thank You

Mike,
Maybe you could enlighten us as to why the multiple delays? Your company has done a good job of pre-marketing the remote as many people are anxiously awaiting it's arrival. Some, like me, aren't going to buy a remote until they've had a chance to look at the MX1000.

But it would be nice to have a more honest dialog with the manufacturer and not the continual "delayed until .

Also Mike,

To quote you: "Please know that our website will be the authority on exactly when the MX-1000 will be released, since we are the actual manufacturer."

I find this comical since your website still says it's shipping in the "1st Quarter 2000".

Guest what, folks! It's now June and...(drum roll)...the web site now says "early July"!

At least they're on time in pushing back the release date. (At the beginning of each month they tell us "next month".)

Last I checked, July was 3rd Quarter...
